Some time in 1980 Golden Wear began as a home based business serving the care homes in and around Winnipeg. Over the years the business grew to the point where a store front was required to handle the inventory along with the growing demand for our product. Today the business continues to be mobile  with our focus on care homes. Currently we travel between Ontario and Alberta conducting sales within care facilities. Annually our teams  visit over 180 facilities.

As we continue  to  grow we realize that the need for our service is even greater than when we started 30 years ago.   At Golden Wear we continue  to refine our products to meet the needs of an ever changing marketplace.

When in Winnipeg stop into our store at 1833 Portage Ave.(about 7 blocks west of the Polo Park Mall). We are open from 9am-5pm Mon-Sat(some seasonal variations occur) Here you will find friendly and knowledgeable staff along with a relaxed pace...no loud music or confusing store layouts, just old-fashioned customer service!
